We started as a two-car garage in 1919, a humble beginning for a business that today is one of the top 50 auto dealers in the United States. Inside that tiny garage on Oahu's north shore, founder Peter Fukunaga instilled three core business principles: work hard, satisfy customers, and have dedicated employees. That remains the foundation of Servco Pacific Inc., and, although our primary business remains automotive, we also have operations in home and commercial products distribution, insurance services and private equity investments.

Dawn Lepore, former CEO of Drugstore.com, Inc., and Chia-Lin Simmons, CEO & Founder of LookyLoo, have joined Servco’s board of directors. With the addition of Lepore and Simmons, Servco’s board members increase from 12 to 14. “Dawn and Chia-Lin have been at the leading edge of digital technology their entire careers,” said Mark Fukunaga, chairman & CEO of Servco Pacific Inc. “Their expertise in adapting businesses to changing consumer behavior and preferences while incorporating new innovative digital and technology solutions will be invaluable as Servco continues to evolve.”
Servco Auto Kauai Sponsors Local Student Makai Baker for SkillsUSA National Competition

Kapaa High School senior Makai Baker, the only Kauai representative in the SkillsUSA Hawaii Competition, beat out more than 20 students to place first in the automotive troubleshooting-based contest held on Oahu. Servco Auto Kauai’s VP & General Manager, Chris Yoo, who is a graduate of Kapaa High School, jumped on the opportunity to sponsor the local boy when he heard about his victory. Makai was presented with a check for $1,000 from Servco Auto Kauai, to use towards travel and other expenses for the national competition, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Servco Foundation Sponsors Palama Settlement’s 2 nd Annual Mystery Night

The Servco Foundation took on the role as Chief Investigator, the top-level sponsor of Mystery Night at the Settlement. The event is a fundraiser for Palama Settlement’s Pakolea Program, a youth sports initiative that emphasizes building character, athletic abilities, and academic success. Members of the community came out to watch “Hide and Seek,” a comedic murder mystery play set in the 1960’s, as an all-star cast portrayed key suspects. Teams who cracked the case were awarded with a prize, as everyone who attended played a role in raising funds for the community program.
Servco Names Peter Hirano as Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Peter Hirano is Servco’s senior vice president of Human Resources effective today. Hirano has 30 years of human resources management experience including leadership positions at HighRoads, Convergys Corp, KPMG Consulting, Aon Hewitt, and most recent, Randstad Sourceright, where he served as senior vice president of Client Services before joining Servco. Hirano will lead Servco’s human resources function, including recruiting, talent development, employee benefits, compensation, labor and employee relations, employer branding, and human resource technology. His office will be located at Servco’s corporate offices in Mapunapuna.
