2017 was a record sales year for Subaru Hawaii with a total of 2,389-unit sales. The top selling Subaru was once again the Forester with 643 units. The Crosstrek took second with 455 units, followed by the Outback with 303 units.
“Congratulations on your new sales record! I want to express my deepest thanks for your effort to enhance the Subaru brand in the Hawaii market,” stated Subaru of America Chairman Tomomi Nakamura.
The redesigned 2017 Impreza led Subaru Hawaii’s gain in retail sales, selling 81 more vehicles compared to 2016. Servco Subaru Kaimuki had the highest year over year sales gain at 9%, with Servco Auto Kauai following at 5%, and Big Island Motors at 4%.
In addition to their retail sales, Subaru Hawaii delivered 233 fleet units to Enterprise in December. Mahalo to the cooperative effort between Servco Subaru Honolulu service department, car carrier service, and fleet customer, Enterprise, for allowing them to deliver 143 Impreza’s and 90 Forester’s in the month.
Subaru of America, Inc. also announced December 2017 as best-ever sales month, with a sales total of 63,342 vehicles. This also marked the 73rd consecutive month that monthly sales increased. Of the December sales number, Hawaii sales totaled 389.
