This morning, team members from Servco’s Wahine Allyship Group had the opportunity to attend an International Women’s Day breakfast hosted by First Lady Jaime Green and Australian Consul-General Andrea Gleason.
The theme was “Women in Science”, aligning with the United Nation Women’s theme of “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. The panel discussion featured four leaders and changemakers in Science:
- Professor Tanya Monro – Chief Defence Scientist, Department of Defence, Australia
- Heidi Shyu – Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Chief Technology Officer, Department of Defense, US
- Jodi Ito – Chief Information Security Officer, University of Hawaiʻi
- Susan Yamada – Chairman of the Board, Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, University of Hawaiʻi
