HONOLULU – A total of $60,000 was donated today to local nonprofit organizations statewide by the Servco Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Servco Pacific Inc., as a part of its 2022 Community Grant Program.
Four nonprofit organizations received $15,000 each:
- Surfrider Spirit Sessions
- Finley Fort Foundation
- ʻAʻAliʻi Mentoring
- Friends of CASA Hawaiʻi
The nonprofits were selected by the Servco Foundation based on a recommendation by Team Serve, the employee-led community service committee at Servco Pacific Inc.
“Each year, Team Serve, in partnership with the Servco Foundation, supports local nonprofits, and this year we are honored to give back to four organizations who have done great work in their community,” said Megan Jeffries, co-chair of Team Serve. “Team Serve looks forward to these opportunities to uplift the community as they have done for us over the years.”
In addition to financial support, Team Serve’s primary focus is on organizing community service activities for Servco team members that fall under the pillar areas of Youth Services, the Earth, Wellness, and Social Mobility. Over the last few months, Team Serve has partnered with organizations including Special Olympics, Parents And Children Together, and Honolulu Habitat for Humanity.
