Servco Pacific Inc. was recognized at Aloha United Way’s (AUW) 2018 Spirit of the Community Award Community, recognizing nearly 50 business, labor, government and nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated exceptional community support, accomplishments, and dedication to Hawaii’s local communities during their annual giving campaign.
Servco’s AUW Coordinators, Michelle Lacuesta and Ken Hashimoto, received the Laulima Award under the Large Companies category for demonstrating exceptional leadership of an individual or group in coordinating their workplace’s giving campaign. Congratulations, Michelle and Ken!
The company also received an award for Best Choreography in AUW’s Let’s Talk Story Campaign kick-off video contest, where they choreographed some cool dances moves to “Let’s Talk Story” by Hawaiian Style Band. The campaign’s purpose was to create our own JOIN THEMOVEMENT video and to encourage our employees to get creative and have fun doing it!
During the 2017 campaign period, Team Servco pledged a total of $209,360.52, an 11% increase from the previous year. The total number of givers was 595, also an increase from last year by 4.6%, and participation increased from 53.3% to 55.7% companywide.
Thank you to everyone who pledged and donated their time to fundraise for this year’s campaign. We look forward to another successful and exciting campaign year!
