Subaru Hawaii launched its seventh annual “Share the Love” campaign last November, which donated $30,000 to six local nonprofit organizations across the state.
From November 1 through December 31, 2017, Subaru Hawaii donated $250 for every new vehicle purchased in Hawaii, up to $30,000. The profits were divided among the six nonprofits.
This past year’s nonprofit beneficiaries were focused in the areas that Subaru Hawaii is committed to making a difference in: animals, the environment, and helping people in need. 2017 beneficiaries included Lanakila Meals on Wheels, Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, Hawaiian Humane Society, Maui Humane Society, Hawaii Island Humane Society, and Kauai Humane Society.
“We are proud to support the causes that our customers care about through this program,” said Glenn Inouye, Servco senior vice president of Automotive Distribution. “By raising awareness of the good that these nonprofit organizations are doing in our communities and by donating a portion of the proceeds from our campaign, we want to continue to make a positive impact in our state.”
In 2016, the program’s six nonprofit beneficiaries received $30,000 in total donations. Mahalo to the dedicated Subaru Hawaii sales team and our valued customers for helping to make a difference in the community by sharing the love.
