Rick Ching, President & COO at Servco Pacific Inc., was named Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders (CTL) 2023 Inspiration Leader of the Year. This award honors visionary leaders in Hawaii who are not only exemplary leaders, but also inspiring mentors to the next generation of leaders.
Ching was presented the award at the organization’s annual fundraiser Vision Lab on April 13, 2023, featuring “shark tank” style pitches from the top CTL student-led project teams.
“On behalf of the Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders board and staff, we’d like to congratulate Rick on this award. We appreciate his exemplary mentorship, community spirit and passion for the next generation.” said CTL Executive Director Katie Chang.
Ching serves on CTL’s Board of Advisors and has been a guest speaker at numerous student events.
“I’m truly humbled by this honor and want to thank the Center for Tomorrowʻs Leaders for the incredible work they do to empower our up-and-coming young leaders,” said Ching. “It’s been a privilege to be a small part of this organization, and I’m always inspired and encouraged by the talent and energy of Hawaiʻi’s students.”
Servco and Center for Tomorrowʻs Leaders share a long-time relationship and focus on mentorship and supporting the next generation of leaders. In 2022, 15 students were provided the opportunity to be paired with a Servco mentor through CTLʻs UNFOLD Mentorship Program.
