HONOLULU – Servco has provided four Toyota forklifts, through its Servco Forklift and Industrial Equipment division, to assist Malama Meals with their growing large-scale operation and deliveries to communities in need. The forklifts will be stationed in Kapolei, Pearlridge, the North Shore, Moilili and Kakaako, and used to move pallets of food, supplies, and equipment. Overall, the forklifts will help to streamline and expedite operations, allowing Malama Meals to expand their reach and provide fresh meals to those faced with food insecurity.
Malama Meals was formed through a partnership between Aloha Venues and its affiliated partners, Aloha Beer Company, Da Spot Healthfoods, and Bluewater Shrimp in early March and are currently delivering 8,000 free meals per day to in-need groups across the island.
