Servco Australia, a subsidiary of Hawaii-based Servco Pacific Inc. (Servco), today announced that it has completed a deal to purchase two dealerships in Perth, Western Australia (WA) from Bruce Shannahan and Ken Hogan. The transaction brings Servco’s total dealership count in Australia to 17. The dealerships included in the transaction are:
- Melville Toyota – 1 Carr Pl, Myaree WA 6154, Australia
- Rockingham Toyota – 75 Dixon Rd, Rockingham WA 6168, Australia
The two locations, serving one of the fastest growing residential suburbs in Australia, will operate as a
single dealership with Rockingham Toyota serving as a branch of Melville Toyota. The two dealerships have combined Toyota unit sales of 150 new and 90 used vehicles a month. The acquisition also adds 152 new team members to Servco.
“With our existing dealerships in the Eastern states of Australia, this acquisition in WA gives Servco a national footprint for the first time,” said Nick Pappas, managing director of Servco Australia. “We’re
proud of this achievement, especially considering we entered the Australia market only 10 years ago.”
Mark McDonnell joins Servco Australia as the Dealer Principal and Equity Partner managing the two dealerships. McDonnell, an automotive veteran in the region, has run a number of Toyota and non-Toyota dealerships in Perth.
Servco Australia is one of the country’s biggest automotive dealer groups. Not counting the dealerships in this acquisition, Servco Australia includes 10 Toyota outlets, three Lexus dealerships, one Hino dealership in Cairns, and a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Subaru dealership in Echuca.
